The Crisis of the Society of St. Pius X

This blog has devoted several posts to speaking about the crisis in which the Society of St. Pius X finds itself. This crisis is one that is difficult to believe, and hard to accept. This crisis is a crisis that we have seen in modern times.

This crisis is seemingly too many vocations.

Okay, okay, that’s a bit dramatic, I’m sorry. Can there be too many holy vocations? I don’t think so. But there is a logistical problem — where to house them? Where to train them?

I posted about this problem a while ago (HERE), but I’ve come across this video, which is a bit dated (from 2012). This video does a great job explaining the solution to this problem and the plans the Society has for its new seminary (the details of which can be found in the original post I made).

May Almighty God continue to bless all of the priests and religious all over the world, including those of the SSPX.

It’s unfortunate that they are not in full communion with Rome.

Pope Francis has made a step towards reconciliation in allowing us to receive the Sacrament of Penance from the Society of these Sacred Priests.
